Picture books are for everybody and so is Family Storytime! Making reading and language fun is the best way to ensure children will be readers. Come enjoy! Located in the Storytime Room, this program lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Drop by the Discovery Corner on Saturday, May 4, from 12:00-2:00 pm to see 3D printers in action. Ask Tracy Jon Sargeant, from the Multicultural Development Center of Iowa, about the printers and get a free 3D printed May the 4th be with you bookmark.

Stop by the Library for free health and social services. The UI Mobile Clinic will be in the lower level of the Library providing free basic health services on a drop-in (no appointment needed!) basis. Area social services agencies will be available to talk to.
Join us in Meeting Room A for a special puppet production by third & fourth graders from Willowwind School.
Pick up a free Take & Make craft for kids at the Children’s desk to make flowers with recycled materials. Available while supplies last. Free Take & Make kits are available monthly on the 3rd Wednesday.

Join us for a special Family Storytime with guest Omega Dancel for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Omega will read a story in Tagolog and talk about embracing and celebrating our differences. Located in the Storytime Room, this program lasts approximately 30 minutes.
