Starting September, we will begin transitioning our wifi hotspot collection to a residents only service. We will still honor checkouts for non-residents who are currently in the wait list, but we will not allow new requests to be added.
This is not a decision we have made lightly. We know how important a service this has been for the last three and a half years to many library patrons from all over Johnson County and beyond. However, the demand has grown to a point where we simply cannot keep up.
We hope this transition gives non-resident patrons enough time to figure out other ways to access internet services. As always, free wifi access is available within the Coralville Library and on its grounds.
