Program Proposal

1. All prospective presenters must complete an online application.

2. Proposals are considered with respect to Coralville Public Library’s Mission Statement, Strategic Plan, and Programming Policy, staff resources, and the diverse range of learning, cultural, and recreational needs of the community.
Additional considerations: presenter background/qualifications, connection to and duplication of other community programs, relation to library resources and programs, and budget.

3. Please be aware that libraries plan programs months ahead of time. If we are interested in learning more about your proposal, you will be contacted by staff. Not all applicants will be contacted.

4. Library programs are not an opportunity to promote a business or service. Programs must be non-commercial, and collection of customer contact information is prohibited.

5. Presenters may be asked to meet with our staff as part of the evaluation process.

6. The presenter shall not claim Coralville Public Library or the City of Coralville endorses the presenter or any product or service.

7. The library expects that performers and musicians will obtain any necessary copyright permission and/or license for any non-original works used for any library program.

8. Program presenters grant permission to the library for any images, video, or audio from the event taken by library staff for library promotional purposes.
