Celebrate National Comic Book Day with us! Starting at 4:00 pm we’ll have comic book themed activities for everyone, kids and adults welcome. Attendees are welcome to wear a favorite comic book character costume.
At 5:30 join us for a conversation with Basi Affia, CEO of Sensiil Studios. Sensiil Studios is the Midwest’s first Black-owned comic book company, and Affia will be talking about the power of storytelling, how it effects our lives, and the importance of representation in books, including comic books.
