This musical tells of forbidden love and of a rivalry between two street gangs. West Side Story is based on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, and is a musical retelling by Bernstein, Sondheim, Laurents, and Kushner. This film version was directed by Steven Spielberg.
West Side Story is rated PG-13 and is approximately 2 1/2 hours long.
