Head out on a 1-mile night hike. Listen for owls, frogs, and other nocturnal animals, and immerse yourself in the magic of a firefly-filled forest! Participants should wear sturdy closed-toed shoes or hiking boots. Students can bring a flashlight or headlamp if desired, but we will use them only for emergencies as we practice using mostly our night senses. The terrain is slightly bumpy and sloped in places.
For teens grades 7-12. Parents responsible for transportation.
Registration and permission slip required. Limit 20. Registration for June events opens May 31. Visit the Library Circulation Desk to register.
