This documentary tells of the trials and tribulations of Ted Ngoy, a Cambodian refugee who creates a multi-million dollar donut empire during the 1970s. He uses his money to help other refugees in need of assistance, but struggles when he begins to develop a serious gambling habit.
The Donut King is 1 ½ hours long.
