Ecoprinting @ Cangleska Wakan with Johnson County Conservation
August 2 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT
Free
Make a work of art or unique fashion statement in this artful nature class. We’ll go on a short hike (a mile or less) to harvest good plant material to use as dyes, then we’ll head indoors to ecoprint! Students should bring a plain white t-shirt and/or white bandana/piece of fabric for printing. Extra processing will be conducted by naturalists, but shirts/bandanas will be handed off to the library for students to take home when complete.
For teens grades 7-12. Parents responsible for transportation.
Registration and permission slip required. Limit 20. Registration for July & August events opens June 29. Visit the Library Circulation Desk to register.
