The Library will close at 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, to set up for an evening event.
Doors will open again at 6:30 pm for the Paul Engle Prize Ceremony. Joan Naviyuk Kane has been named the 12th recipient of the Paul Engle Prize, presented by the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature organization. Kane will receive the prize and talk about her work. This event is free and open to the public. There will be a reception following the ceremony.
