Hike 1.5 miles through the prairie at its peak summer beauty and diversity. A naturalist will share details about the wildflowers and other discoveries made along the way. Afterwards, students are welcome to explore inside of the Conservation Education Center and meet the resident Education Animals if desired and if time allows. Students should come prepared for full sun conditions, and should wear sturdy closed-toe shoes for the hike.
For teens grades 7-12. Parents responsible for transportation.
Registration and permission slip required. Limit 20. Registration for July & August events opens June 29. Visit the Library Circulation Desk to register.
