Ava DuVernay’s award-winning documentary, 13th, is an in-depth examination of mass incarceration and of the prison system in the U.S., which reveals the nation’s history of racial inequality.  The title refers to the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which abolished slavery.

This film is 1 hour and 40 minutes long. Refreshments, including fresh popcorn, will be provided.
